Do you take your bike to the mechanic if you need it worked on or do you repair it yourself?

It really depends. Mostly just take it down to Gabe at @Bike Surgeon SOIL so he can show me how silly i am for needing to bring it it.

They show me how silly I am for not bringing it in sooner lol. A $100 job turns into $700 LOL

lol, yea Gabe is a good guy. Do any gear adjustments, chain issues, tire and tube issues myself. Prefer to have an expert true my wheels or solve a problem I cannot figure out. Also bleeding disc brakes--don't do myself.

If I try to do any expert work, Gabe is just going to end up making more money LOL
