Have any of you noticed the AI features on Strava at all?

There are little ride intelligence features that tell you how you did in each area.

What do you think of that? Do you like it? Can it help improve your training and performance?

I don't really use strava at all, rides get automatically posted there but i spend most of my time during analysis in XERT

Tell me more about Xert!
They have a free version, but i subscribe to the paid version. Not that big of difference.

It was developed by sports scientists out of University of Calgary (don't quote me on that). They developed a new model for fatigue prediction using power. They were one of the first platforms that would allow you to do a hard work out (30-30's or something similar) and be able to predict Threshold Power. Of course it's not an exact science as each method of detecting threshold power has it's upsides and downsides. However, I think that for training, the EXACT number doesn't matter, but instead consistent error should be the focus.
