What do you all think about a gravel/MTB route for the River to River Trail?
I've always wanted to thru-hike the R2R, but it would take me a week or more to do it comfortable. I'm into FKTs.
But I could get it done faster on bike, I think.
However, many parts of the trail are prohibited by bike including the state parks and especially the wilderness areas.
So, I thought, why not make an ALT route of the R2R and make it mainly consist of old forest roads and back roads (gravel more than anything).
Would that be something you might find interesting?
