When cycling outside in the cold winter, tell us all your layering strategy?

What are you wearing layer by layer?

This could help others layer up a little better when biking in the cold.

Feet: Merino wool socks, shoes, shoe covers (If cold enough)
Legs: insulated bib tights (if weather is sub 45)
Chest: Moisture wicking baselayer (long sleeve of course), standard jersey, wind vest (if really cold), thermal jersey, moisture wicking jacket ( i dont do all of this unless its really cold, and if its that cold, im indoors mostly)

I wear Alpaca Wool socks. They're pretty warm, too. I've never used shoe covers but I probably should.

I have insulated padded bib-tights but I try to wear my thermal bib-shorts, warmers, and then a pair of unpadded bib-tights over them if it's really cold otherwise just the warmers.

Base layer shirt for moisture control, insulated jersey, sport hoodie or wind breaker pending the temps.

Full fingered gloves and head cover under helmet.
