Ever rode the entirely on Tunnel Hill Trail in one day?

Hank Dieters has the FKT for it. I may go for it next during the winter months.

My N+1 is reserved for race bikes unfortunately.

How do you hydrate and fuel consistently?

pre-open your stuff before the ride. I will take scissors and notch a side so that i can easily do the teeth rip

    Clipped in while mountain biking

I've ridden clipped in and flats on a MTB. I far prefer to be clipped in. You can fake having better control of the back end being clipped in and I have found myself coming close to hitting the boys by slipping off the pedals.

    Helmet brand and style

I love specialized helmets. Although i haven't tried any other brands, the spec ones do what they say on the tin.

    Tubeless

I can't count the number of times i've come home from a ride (gravel, road, mtb) and the seat tube is speckled in sealant. Without being tubeless i would 100% flatted and had to end my ride earlier than expected. The lower pressures allowed by tubeless benefit everyone, especially those of us...

    Handlebar tape

Usually about once a season. I honestly really like the Zipp service course road tape. It seems to be more durable than the lizard skins (which are super comfy, but they wouldn't last a cx season).

    Bicycle Maintenance Tools

If I cant work on it with a cassette tool or a set of allen keys the bike goes to the shop

How often do you take photos while cycling?

I don't really like taking photos on the bike. I just tune into the music/podcast I'm in and watch the miles tick by

    Bib Knickers

I find the knickers are the right length for a lot of cooler days. Sometimes the full bore tights are the play, but i've had pretty good luck with just knickers during CX season

    Winter Cycling Gloves

Still looking, I'll let you know when i find em.

Will you road ride at night?

I honestly think that riding at night is better. I don't have a varia light or any vehicle detection so i like being able to see the lights coming up from behind. Also I feel like the rear blinky lights stand out far better on the night sky than they do during the day.

    Tubeless

Tubeless on everything! Lower daily maintanence, higher quarterly

    No handed

You're too tense on the bike then. Relax and let your body naturally handle the balance.

Ever rode the entirely on Tunnel Hill Trail in one day?

Well weekends mostly, but not really until the new year do I have time to really go out and knock out the century on Tunnel hill

    Ride to _______.

No need for a new bike, just use one of the ones i already have.

How do you hydrate and fuel consistently?

I try for a more consistent food in situation, but that's because it's hard to shovel in lots of food when riding for me. I try to consume every 10-15 min

Padded tights vs. Unpadded over bib shorts

I definitely prefer padded bib-tights. The tights over bib shorts works, but i find the two materials are both extremely slick and i end up with tights falling off
