Last Friday I went for a normal 20 miles ride with the gravel bike.

Vienna to Tunnel Hill Trailhead and back.

It was cold when I loaded up. I put on my thermal bib shorts, thermal leg warmers, thermal jersey, and a windbreaker. I had to stop and put on full fingered gloves, too.

I'd hopes to shed layers as I rode but it stayed chilly enough where I never shed any of them.

Other than that, it was a good ride other than I was recovering from a bad sinus infection from the previous day, so I didn't ride too hard.

I almost said screw it and stay home but I'm glad I pushed myself to get out and ride.

Lot's of times it's hard to get started, but I'm always glad i got on the bike a few miles in.
