What's your favorite season for cycling?

Why is it your favorite?

For me: Summer

Why: Because I like warmth. I like to wear shorts and short-sleeve jerseys and be comfortable. Cold hurts and is hard to get used to. I'd rather bike in humidity any day than cold.

I prefer to ride in summer, but prefer to race in spring and fall.

Why race during those months? Just not as hot as you're working overtime I'd imagine?
Lot's of documentation showing the human body works really well around 50*F. You can look at marathon times to see that when it gets much above 60* you can throw the WR time out of the window. Cooling is a huge limiter for the body, if you can stay cool and fueled you can do whatever you want, until your muscles give out.

Interesting! i know I felt like I did well at the start of DSR compared to when I've done other competitive riding events.
