The padding looks to benefit those who plan to be in the saddle for a while.

Those look like a rip of the Specialized bibs. 4 pockets and the whole works. IDK about chamois padding, it seems to not really matter at the 3+hour mark.

Yeah, every 100 miler I've done has always resulted in the swelling of the ass cheeks LOL

That's a skill issue, just don centuries more and the swelling should go down.
