I'm terrified of clipping in while mountain biking.

I just feel like it's a good way to wreck LOL

How do you all feel about this?

Do you clip in on the MTB trails?

Yes, clipped in on the mountain bike. But I’ve had a bit of practice. I bought my first pair of Look pedals back in 1985.
I probably should try it and just do easier trails to get used to it.

Now on my road bike or gravel bike, I don't think I could do it without being clipped in.

I pretty used to those on there.

I've ridden clipped in and flats on a MTB. I far prefer to be clipped in. You can fake having better control of the back end being clipped in and I have found myself coming close to hitting the boys by slipping off the pedals.

That would be a good argument for me to consider being clipped in, LOL.

I've yet to hit them on anything haha
