Hi all - Chicago native here. My Southern IL biking experience is solely on the Tunnel Hill Trail, which I love. I have come during the "shoulder seasons" when it's often still cold here and much nicer there. I'm also involved with the Chicago bike camping org Out Our Front Door. Southern Illinois comes up sometimes when we're talking about new route development, although we haven't had a ride there as of yet. I'd love to learn more about other biking and camping options in the area, especially 2-3 day bike camping routes. Thanks! Bradley

Welcome. I will be up your way this weekend. Montrose Harbor CX is state champs. Hope you can come out and give a few cheers for the rest of your cycling buddies. Also....is it muddy up there?
