    32er Mountain Bikes

Have any of you heard about the new 32-inch mountain bike tire? I found an article about one company doing some crowdfunding for it: https://www.bikemag.com/news/a-32-inch-mountain-bike-dirtysixer-delivers-for-tall-riders-with-mtb-32er I have a 29er and personally love it. I kind of like the...

A tornado hit Tunnel Hill State Trail

Yeah. I'm wondering if it will be severe this season. I worry about cuts to the weather service, too. I don't want to get political, but we need that stuff, especially for us in the country that don't have access to so many resources like city folk do.

A tornado hit Tunnel Hill State Trail

Yeah. It tracked for about 15 miles as an EF-2. A friend of mine lost most of his roof, and neighbors down the road lost their entire homes. It's a miracle no one died.

A tornado hit Tunnel Hill State Trail

Around Shelby Road, where the trail goes under HWY-45, the tornado crossed the trail. I was told that the section is closed today, and the trail crew is working on clearing it up. We drove on 45 where the path was -- it's absolutely horrible looking. Very sad for those who lost their homes.

The Tunnel Hill State Trail : Surface question

Unpaved is definitely a good status. There was plans to pave a big chunk of it. I'm hoping they don't personally. I'd rather it be the fine rock.

The Dirty South Roubaix 2025 Post!

Alright folks... Tell us how it went for you... I registered for the full. I had my mind to do it even if it took a while. However, the wind broke me. My average was under 10 MPH and I felt it would go lower as I kept trying. Ultimately, I decided to do the half, instead. I assumed I'd get a...

The Tunnel Hill State Trail : Surface question

North of Tunnel Hill and south of Vienna has recently been re-rocked (crushed fine limestone). When it's wet out, it gets soft. The rest is hard packed crushed fine limestone with some gravel spots where patching has occurred. Harrisburg is concrete up until north of town, then it is almost a...
